The health and safety of our patients and staff is of utmost importance. Our team would like to advise everyone on basic precautions that should be taken in addition to those set forth by the CDC. RAM Radiology remained open for business during the pandemic and continue to follow added precautions including added sanitization protocols to our already high standards of safety.

Prostate Artery Embolization

Radiologic Associates of Middletown RAM Radiology has board certified interventional radiologists to perform all embolization needs. RAM Interventional Radiology procedures are performed at Middlesex Health.

Embolization is a minimally invasive procedure used to block the blood flow to blood vessels. Prostatic artery embolization (PAE) is a minimally invasive treatment that helps improve lower urinary tract symptoms caused by a Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). BPH is a noncancerous enlargement of the prostate gland and is the most common benign tumor found in men.

Prostatic artery embolization helps improve lower urinary tract symptoms caused by Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), which is the enlargement of the prostate.
